Current Projects
CDS TrialNavigator Mobile App
The CDS TrialNavigator App aims to provide a single access point for patients of color to be educated on the diseases that disproportionately affect this population, learn about the clinical trial process and the benefits of participation, identify studies for which they may be eligible, and to connect with research teams easily.
Clinical Trial Navigation Program
The CDS Patient Navigation service aims to increase awareness of opportunities to receive treatment within a clinical trial, facilitate informed and shared decision-making with patients and their healthcare team about participating, and minimize barriers to enrollment if the patient is interested in participating in a trial.
TrialReady Patient Registry
The TrialReady Research Recruitment Registry aims to create and maintain a research participant database of African Americans interested in learning about and potentially participating in future studies relevant to their medical condition.
Past Projects
Clinical Trial Participation Survey
The CDS Clinical Trial Participation Survey evaluated African American community members' attitudes regarding participation in clinical trials. The survey was conducted throughout 2022 and provided the data that informed the design of the CDS Clinical Trial Navigation Program.
